I wondered if I - could exist in your dimension
Your spirit smiled with cosmologic charm
We stood off stage, you wrapped your arms around me
Drew me to your realm, just as I started to go on

Things I still hear you say
Pretend this life is a play
We should Have Adventures
Dance naked beneath the moon
Soothe my tears when I feel lost
Make love on a rainy afternoon

Your wind of attraction, unsettled my peace of mind
You felt too right, like a calm before the storm
I risked the rain, and dove into your waters
You said, I feel like you are someone I have always known

Things I still hear you say
Pretend this life is a play
We should Have Adventures
Dance naked beneath the moon
Soothe my tears when I feel lost
Make love on a rainy afternoon

Today friends were together, honoring your life
We hurt and searched for words we could barely speak
I reached out for your hand, and missed the comfort of your touch
I felt your kiss in the tear that left a trail on my cheek

I set out the plates, you lit the candles
Our first date there was no third degree
Hearing my recordings, you danced around the rooms
Falling into love that’s when you whispered things to me

Things I still hear you say
Pretend this life is a play
We should Have Adventures
Dance naked beneath the moon
Soothe my tears when I feel lost
Make love on a rainy afternoon
